12-6-10 Wreath @ NM State Capitol

Mr & Mrs Brad Christmas from Wagon Mound, NM, the parents of Todd Christmas who was killed in 2004 in a helicopter crash while on active duty after serving one year in Iraq, present the wreath during the ceremony of the Wreaths-Across-America as it is offically presented to the citizens of New Mexico at the Rotunda of the New Mexico State Capitol building in Santa Fe on Monday, December 6, 2010.

The ceremonial wreath presented has been donated to New Mexico by the Worcester Wreath Company in Maine. At three feet in diameter, it is made from balsam fir and covered with flags representing each of the branches of the military, as well asvice members designated POW / MIA. Wreaths are presented to each state capitol to honor our fallen men and women during the holidays that have served in the U.S. military.

This event is conducted simultaneously with all other state capitols.
